i recently finished a huge book, 2666 by roberto bolano. i forgot how it landed in my recommendations but pretty much rawdogged it - didn't look anything up, didn't know the author, just knew that it was beefy. and in a gluttonous way, i wanted something i could spend hours reading and not even put a dent in it (898pgs). really incredible piece of work. everytime i thought i knew where it would zig, it zagged. i've added a few other bolanos on the list. a few new edits on the bandcamp: used to love me / party / telepathy love. —

my algo has been showing me lots of uk music, new and old, whether that's to do with recent obsessions with old top of the pops recordings or pinkpantheress, i'm really liking what they're up to over there. ambiguous desire by arlo parks is a recent favorite. uploaded two edits also: u already know (siik_org_edit), wanna be a baller (siik_org_edit). —

i advocate for california supremacy often, and there are a good many artists, groups, and bands that imo don't get the shine that reflects their impact, pharcyde being one. on some mack keane/esta/joyce wrice. enjoy: she said(siik_org_edit)

soundcloud's algorithm autodeletes my shit swiftly, so bandcamp is the only place i'll put these now. free as always but appreciative if you got the means. been inspired lately by 80s extended mixes, most especially by the late great andrew weatherall. enjoy: toxic(siik_org_edit)

trying something different for a mix. i was feeling nostalgic for 143, looking at my serato crates, feeling the harmony as i see some of my favorite transitions - so i thought, let's make some mixes and complicate those transitions with stems. this is the first iteration but i'm thinking about maybe two more of these. probably will break some of them out as separate edits. enjoy upstairs (01)! —

ho ho ho, merry christmas. SR007 for you and yours. be well —
