i guess i just got really excited when school was done, cuz i’ve been pretty much mixing shit nonstop since. and i seriously wish there was a version of dick in a box without the laugh track. i can’t even express how much the song rules, just production-wise. not to mention how jt’s skits on snl are usually great – he’s a natural entertainer, doesn’t matter what he’s doing. but i digress.. this remix is, well, to quote a few people that i let listen beforehand, ‘whoa’. it’s very different. and i dig it a lot. as i was making it i was paying more attention to the lyrics, and i just realized he’s singing about marriage- seems kinda more fitting now, no? i dunno if you wanna get married and have that song(the original my love) playing instead of canon in d. but maybe this one will. the orig is m-flo – let go.
