i remember when i first heard this track. it was blowin up on the radio some time around 8th grade. i definitely thought she was white. it was sorta like booty bass but on a real mellowed out r&b tip. my cousin’s brother had the sosodef bass allstars cd and i was begging to borrow it. the cd casing was next level, it was tinted green like lego lasers pieces. it was so off the hook. also, it had corina – summertime summertime on it, which is THE DAMN JAM. although i didn’t know that corina ripped the song from nocera. the original is way sicker. and the original love you down is also sick. regarding my blend, my friend says it sounds like a beach at dusk. i think she’s right. when the daft punk cd came out i was like ‘wtf, this song is just a loop with a fadein and fadeout.’ well, it’s perfect for an acapella!
