i think i might have posted about it before, but shibuya kei is a certain quirky japanese genre of sorts that takes up a lot of my music collection. not really sure how to explain it as i’m not even sure of its roots myself, but here’s my best: imagine a skinny japanese man with a bowl cut donning a sergio mendes mask sitting in a verner panton-influenced lounge eating the uk and french pop/rock scenes in the 60s and 70s, then having some exotica to wash it down, some french house for dessert, and paying the bill with palm tree leaves. yeah, that’s way over the top. just give it a listen.

Yo, I haven’t been online much since last weekend, But I just thought I’d let you know your tracks were a huge hit with the people here. Keep it up! I like this new one too. I’ll hit you up online sometime soon. In like a week or two I should have some time free if you want some help building up this website a little more on the backend side.
I love this mix out of the few you’ve posted recently, do you mind posting the songs used for this mix? I’m familiar with some of these artists.. but not all of them.
thanks
