strawberry and pineapple flavors

a bit of funk and more 90s hiphop action. and that kanye track does it to me.. meanwhile the album doesn’t really do it to me. i’m convinced that kanye produces better stuff for common than he does himself. faithful is still hands down one of my favorite songs ever.
jackson five – it’s great to be here (kenny dope remix)
maze f. frankie beverly – before i let go
the detroit spinners – it’s a shame
king floyd – groove me
kanye west – champion
andre 3000 – happy valentines day
the gap band – outstanding
big daddy kane – ain’t no half steppin
pharcyde – soul flower (remix)
pete rock & cl smooth – they reminisce over you (instrumental)
souls of mischief – 93 till infinity

I still prefer Flashing Lights over Champion, but Champion blends well with the vibe you’ve got here. Double-WORD on the Pete/CL beat. Probably one of my favorites of all time.

Nah Kanye’s album is a classic. I think that in order to get the full experience of it, you have to sit down and listen to the whole album, in sequence, until it’s finished. It doesn’t really “grow” on you, as much as it does slap you in the face and tell you “i was great the whole time!” (you’ll get what i mean once you give it a few more spins)

Since you haven’t updated in a minute, I haven’t been here for a minute. But I agree with Lee, I prefer Flashing Lights over Champion. Both of which is in the running to be his next single. Of course Champion is the beat for dance. =)
