this week’s TbTotW. my dad listened to lots of jazz like this when i was a kid, so it’s all ingrained into my subconscious. most times, the songs would become soundtracks to our road trips – which have fallen off in frequency! from biannual to per year to every few years.. and now we’re all too old for things like that. i forgot where i recently heard this one but it slayed me immediately. i went home earlier this week and asked my dad if he had any ronnie laws cds i could rip.. without even hesitating he replies ‘yes’ and gets up to find them. my dad has a pretty extensive cd collection that i’ve yet to peruse thoroughly.
+ after running into some middle school friends, i took it upon myself to scan our long fifth grade class picture. do they still do this for elementary classes? a lot of the gear in this picture is sick. idunno so much about the flannel tip though. jesus, 94.. /counts the years
