i’m about to cop serato. well, the box and the vinyls and stuff, from a friend. he just bought the rane mixer that come with serato built in, so he don’t have much use for the old one, so i’ll swoop on it to help further my quest into being an actual dj. although it feels like a backwards way of doin it.. buying serato before i even got tables and a mixer? it’s like – my dad’s favorite analogy – buying rims before buying a car. but i can’t pass it up. soon i’ll be doing weddings, debuts, and bar mitzvahs.
this saturday i’ll be djing again in pasadena for the come up, the crew that lino put together. (flier action) there’s a cover past 10:30 so get there early. flier by yours truly.
