a very fulfilling throwback track of the week(TbTotW). i’d actually been trying to id this song since for fuckin’ ever. all i could ever remember was the melody. this, along with push the feeling on and show me love are all in the running for most addictive 90′s house melody ever. those other two were easy, but i could not for the life of me figure out got a love for you. i would be humming the tune all by my lonely, trying to ask friends if they remembered a 90s house track that sounded like this, and i’d proceed to hum in a shitty manner. it never worked. i swear, trying to id a song via melody makes you look like an idiot at times. HOWEVER. i recently heard the sammy bananas bmore of it, and through some more googling and turntablelab’s handy dandy description i figured it out, and a momentous occasion was had. it was definitely a weight lifted off my shoulders.
+ i’m going to be in new york in about a week and a half (apr 22 to may 2). i’ve never been. i’ll be able to knock out a few more states off my visited list, which i’m glad to do. a quest of mine is to get a corny magnet and key chain from every state; i’ve driven cross country from florida to cali and i’ve also gone up to washington as well as through tornado alley on my way to chicago, so i’ve got a fair amount of those states. i’ve yet to conquer any of the east coast though, and i plan on doing an up and down the coast drive there at some point in life. and i just realized i didn’t get any keychain or magnet from hawaii.. more reason to come back! HO! but back to new york: i have no real plans except visiting niagara falls and visiting a bunch of homies and taking hella pictures, so please leave me recommendations on what to do.
+ parks and recreation.. i want this to work! i really like amy poehler and any ucb extended fam. but so far it seems like she’s just another michael scott. buh. please please please amy, make this show about you and not all ‘hey lol we’re the office but not selling paper!’. and rashida jones you’re beautiful and all but you aren’t really that funny, the quirky all-i-do-is-act-cute-in-the-office humor worked only on the office.
+ i love love love late 80s/90s action movies, like b-movie van damme type shit. therefore when i find gems on youtube like this i get super excited. i need to see these movies a.s.a.p. as possible. (well i’ve already downloaded the first two so we good)
