good to be back. the trip was a lot of fun, albeit a little claustrophobic being in a van for like six-eight hours a day. i took a lot of pictures, i’ve put some already in my photos directory here, and i’ll probably adding some more as i sort through them. the first thing i did when i got back was: finish up that astrodutch remix! so here it is:

i’ve also uploaded the original track from which i stole the instrumental, m-flo – astrosexy. m-flo is a japanese hip-pop group, used to be a trio that consisted of a lady singer, a rapper, and a producer; since then, she’s flew solo and now the duo releases singles with other prominent pop acts, aptly titled ‘m-flo loves [name of artist(s)]‘. i really dig the producer’s (taku) style, although this single really upbeat, it isn’t indicative of his previous work. he’s got a wide range, and i’ll probably put some more m-flo tracks. anyway, some other things i’ve been thinking of lately:
~ i don’t enjoy late registration as much as i enjoyed college dropout. atleast it has less skits. the jon brion influences are very evident, and sometimes it comes off as forced.
~since when did nick cannon become so street? i hate mtv (but not laguna beach)
~r&b not chopped but screwed, seriously some sexin music.
~24 season 5 is a long wait.
~oh also: the person ‘b’ who mentioned gino’s in chicago, i had some of that pizza and gawddamn. intensely good.
