brandy - i wanna be down

back in the day i had a major crush on brandy. i bought her first cd and listened to it a lot in middle school. i found out my aunt had the waiting to exhale soundtrack, and i took it from her (because ’sitting up in my room’ was on that). and i remember watching i still know what you did last summer because she was in it. a few years ago one of my friend’s friend’s friend invited us to a house party at — BRANDYS HOUSE!?!? — which was in calabasas. we totally went, and it was amazing. there were a ton of people and there was a soul food buffet that consisted of (but not limited to) fried chicken, mashed potatoes, candied yams, cornbread, and mac & cheese. it was sweet. and i did get to see her, which did fulfill a childhood dream.
